Tiemann Industrial Supply, Inc. is a successful, old-line supplier that services a broad range of customers and products. Its lines satisfy all maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) needs of the plant. It is well regarded in the industry for its dedication to quality and timely service. Customer inquiries, no matter how small or detailed and complex, are answered efficiently on the phone or in the field by its knowledgeable representatives. These representatives are able to suggest the best product solutions and provide appropriate supporting evidence to insure complete satisfaction on the job.

Tiemann stocks more than 35,000 items, some of which are special inventory for particular customer needs. Our warehouse operations encompass not only our main facility, but also include stock locations maintained at various customer sites through its full service inventory and stocking arrangements. Product deliveries are made through the company's fleet of vans or other services, as may be appropriate.

Tiemann is an active participant in supplyFORCE, a network of more than 300 independent distributors with an excess of 2500 stocking locations throughout North America. SupplyFORCE permits customers manage both local and national procurement requirements through an integrated supply system, while maintaining the benefits delivered by local, independent distributors. This participation of the company in supplyFORCE gains access to national accounts it would otherwise not be able to service.

Tiemann also is a member of Affiliated Distributors (A-D), an organization headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. A-D provides marketing expertise and also negotiates with large suppliers to obtain the most competitive pricing, terms and rebates on behalf of its distributors.

Tiemann is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Such certification is especially valuable in dealing with the larger, national accounts.

Tiemann has installed a state-of-the-art computer system; driven by Prelude software, that integrates the complete order entry, inventory control and accounting operations.

Our state-of-the-art system allows us to integrate its inventory, ordering, billing and shipping operations. This system permits close monitoring of product movement and procurement. In addition, it enables direct communication, or e-procurement, with customers through electronic data exchange (EDI) to reduce the cost of ordering and expedite deliveries for such customers.

Tiemann's real strength lies with its highly trained and experienced sales staff, including safety and cutting tool specialist which can solve customer problems, whether they involve new applications or modifications to existing procedures and products. All these strengths are coupled with superior products from well-known manufacturers that guarantee total performance.
